Terms and conditions of DirectRemit service

The following conditions apply to all DirectRemit transfers initiated from Emirates NBD KSA

  • DirectRemit is available to individuals only (Saudi citizens and residents)
  • Minimum transfer amount: SAR 100
  • Maximum transfer amount per transaction:
    • EGP 250,000 to Egypt
    • INR 1,000,000 to India
  • Unlimited number of transactions allowed
  • Transfer requests to India received between 10:00 p.m. – 12:00 a.m. (KSA time) will be processed by 12:00 a.m. (KSA time)
  • Transfer requests to Emirates NBD Egypt will be processed 24/7
  • DirectRemit to Egypt is available only for registered beneficiary bank accounts with EGP currency at Emirates NBD Egypt
  • DirectRemit to India is available for registered beneficiary bank accounts with INR currency at any bank in India
  • Transactions that do not meet the DirectRemit criteria will not be processed as DirectRemit. Instead, they will be routed through SWIFT, in which case Emirates NBD Fees and/or correspondent bank charges may apply (if any) and swift processing time shall be 1-3 days

Transaction limit:

Up to EGP 100,000 per transaction

DirectRemit India:

Features:

  • Seamless and Instant transfers 24/7.
  • Free transfers to any bank account in India.
  • Competitive exchange rates.

Processing time:

  • Transfers to all bank accounts in India will be processed within 60 minutes.
  • Transfers received between 10:00 p.m. - 12:00 a.m. shall be processed by 12:00 a.m. (KSA time)

Transaction limit:

Up to INR 1,000,000 (10 Lakhs) per transaction
